The Department of Community Health Nursing, Narayan Nursing College, Jamuhar, successfully celebrated World Environment Day 2026 on 5th June 2026 under the inspiring theme, “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future.” The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. K. Latha, Dean cum Principal, with the support of Dr. Shaveta Sharma, Vice Principal.
The event featured a welcome address, theme presentation, expert awareness talks on environmental conservation, biodiversity, and water conservation, along with enthusiastic student speeches promoting sustainable living. A sapling plantation drive was also conducted to encourage eco-friendly practices and reinforce the importance of protecting our environment. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and the Department of Community Health Nursing, making it a meaningful initiative towards fostering environmental responsibility and climate awareness.
