On 14th June 2025, the Department of Nursing Foundation at Narayan Nursing College, Gopal Narayan Singh University, proudly organized an event to mark World Blood Donor Day 2025. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Punit Singh, Medical Superintendent, NMCH, who emphasized the life-saving impact of voluntary blood donation in his keynote address.
Distinguished guests including Shri. Upendra Kumar Singh, Mr. Bhupendra Kumar Singh, Prof. Dr. K. Latha, Prof. Dr. Shaveta Sharma, Prof. Dr. P. Poonarasi, Mr. Rahul Kumar, Hal. Jagpal Singh, Lt. Dr. Mayank Rai, Mr. Sanjeev Parashar, Mr. Raushan Singh, and Ms. Nikee Minz graced the occasion, along with organizing members and M.Sc. Nursing students from the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing.
Out of 60 registered volunteers, 47 eligible donors contributed to this noble cause. Participants included doctors, faculty, staff, students, local residents, and nearby organizations. Each donor underwent essential health checks before donation and received a Certificate of Appreciation and a Blood Donor Card.
This event not only reinforced the value of voluntary blood donation but also highlighted the spirit of unity and service within the campus and the surrounding community.
