Narayan Nursing College, Gopal Narayan Singh University, Jamuhar, Sasaram, Rohtas, Bihar, proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 at the college campus with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The programme, held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, witnessed the participation of around 300 students, along with NCC and NSS volunteers, faculty members and non-teaching staff. The event was organized under the chairpersonship of Prof. Dr. K. Latha, Dean cum Principal, NNC, and coordinated by Mr. Mohit Kumar and Mr. Saikat Mondal, Nursing Tutors.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting and National Anthem, followed by a welcome address, inspiring speeches by the Dean cum Principal and Vice Principal, and a vote of thanks.
The programme paid tribute to the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and highlighted the values of democracy, justice, equality and liberty. Students were also encouraged to contribute actively towards nation-building, innovation, sustainable development and self-reliance.
The celebration concluded successfully with a strong sense of patriotism, unity and national pride among the students and staff of Narayan Nursing College.
