In an effort to provide competent nursing care in specialised departments, the Indian Nursing Council has prepared one year Post Basic Diploma Programmes in nursing. The program allows nurses to specialise in Emergency and Disaster Nursing , Critical Care Nursing and Neonatal Nursing. The course allows registered nurses to essentially upscale their skill sets and take on new and more challenging roles.
At Narayan Nursing college Post basic diploma courses were inaugurated by Registrar of Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna.
