Narayan Nursing College Celebrates Cyber Jagrookta Diwas

Theme: “Build a Culture of Cyber Hygiene”

Narayan Nursing College, Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU), Jamuhar, Bihar, celebrated Cyber Jagrookta Diwas 2026 on 7 October 2026 to promote cybersecurity awareness and encourage safe and responsible digital practices among students. The programme was organized by the Cyber Security Awareness Coordinator, Narayan Nursing College, under the theme “Build a Culture of Cyber Hygiene.”

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. K. Latha, Dean-cum-Principal, and Prof. Dr. Shaveta Sharma, Vice Principal, with the participation of students from B.Sc. Nursing First Semester (Sections A and B), GNM First Year, and GNM Second Year.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Neha Yadav, a GNM Second-Year student, who welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. Subsequently, Prof. Dr. K. Latha explained the theme and highlighted the importance of cybersecurity awareness in today’s increasingly digital world.

The programme emphasized the need to develop responsible online habits, maintain cyber hygiene, and follow safe digital practices. Students actively participated in the awareness initiative and gained valuable insights into the importance of protecting themselves in the digital environment.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Nitsh Keshari, Nursing Tutor, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their valuable contributions and active participation. The event ended with the National Anthem.

The celebration of Cyber Jagrookta Diwas 2026 reinforced the importance of digital responsibility and encouraged students to adopt safer online practices in their academic and personal lives.
