Theme: “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down”
On 28th July 2025, the Department of Nursing Foundation, Narayan Nursing College, proudly observed World Hepatitis Day with the global theme “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down”. The event aimed to raise awareness and encourage decisive action toward achieving the World Health Organization’s goal of eliminating hepatitis by 2030.
The observance featured active participation from:
- GNM 2nd Year students (Batch: 2023–2026)
- B.Sc. Nursing IV Semester students (Batch: 2023–2027)
Two major events were organized:
- Poster Exhibition
Venue: OPD, Narayan Medical College & Hospital (NMCH)
Theme-based creative displays focused on breaking the stigma and spreading awareness about hepatitis. - Debate: The Disputation Match
Venue: Seminar Hall, LT–03, Narayan Nursing College
Topic: “Will the world be able to eliminate hepatitis by 2030 as per WHO goals?”
The program highlighted the urgent need to expand access to testing, treatment, and integrated care services, reinforcing the call to end hepatitis as a public health threat.
