Indian Organ Donation Day 2025

On the occasion of Indian Organ Donation Day 2025, the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing at Narayan Nursing College (NNC), Jamuhar, Rohtas, is proud to organize a series of awareness activities under the inspiring theme “Be a Lifesaver – Pledge to Donate Organs.”

Under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. K. Latha, Dean cum Principal, and Prof. Dr. Shaveta Sharma, Vice Principal, NNC, the event includes:

  • Pamphlet Distribution at OPD, Narayan Medical College & Hospital (NMCH)
  • Webinar hosted at NNC on the same theme

The activities are organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. P. Ponnarasi, Head of the Department, Medical Surgical Nursing.

Participation in the event includes students from:

  • M.Sc. Nursing I Year (Batch: 2024–2026)
  • M.Sc. Nursing II Year (Batch: 2023–2025)

Objective:

The primary objective of the program is to raise awareness among the community and nursing students about the critical importance of organ donation. By educating the public and future healthcare professionals, the event seeks to promote a culture of organ donation, ultimately contributing to saving and improving lives.
