Every budding Nurse student has to be made to understand the importance of Nursing care. Symbolically it has been celebrated with responsibility of promising the body of Nursing Profession. Therefore the first year Nursing Students are made to take the Oath of promise developed for Budding Nurses by Ms. Florence Nightingale which is celebrated as ‘Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony’.
‘Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony’ for Ist year GNM Nursing students of Narayan Nursing College was planned and organized on 03-06-2015, which was a grand success.
Inauguration: The Chief Guest for the Day was Honorable Mrs. Kumari Veena, Registrar, BNRC, Patna, Guest of Honour was Honorable Mrs. Anuja Daniel, Principal, College of Nursing, IGIMS, Patna, Special guests were Mrs. Usha Kumari, Principal, School of Nursing, PMCH, Patna, Shri Gopal Narayan Singh, Chairman, Narayan Nursing College, Govind Narayan Singh, Secretary, Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Tri Vikram Narayan Singh, MD, Narayan Medical College and Hospital Dr. Prof. M.L Verma, Principal, Narayan Medical College and Hospital and Mr. Nitesh Kumar, Principal, Narayan Nursing College.
The Inauguration started with the Highligting the importance of Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony.
Followed by Invocation Song by Nursing Students.
Ceremonial Lamp Lighting by The Chief Guest other dignitaries in the dais.
The Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony: All the students were asked stand-up with the Candle to be lighted and our special Guest, Lighted the Lamp of some students simultaneously the Respective coordinators Lighted the lamp of other students.
The entire first year students took part in Ms. Florence Nightingale oath.
